Our sports summer camp program is designed to engage children (Ages 5 to 14) in the rich cultural heritage of Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, music and maculele.
During the summer school, your child will learn the fundamentals of Capoeira movements, acrobatics, kicks, and dodges, as well as the traditional songs and rhythms that accompany the practice.
Our experienced instructors are passionate about teaching Capoeira and create a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment for your child. Through our program, children will develop physical strength, coordination, and flexibility, as well as social skills such as teamwork, respect, cultural appreciation, leadership skills and take part in our fine arts and crafts program.
In addition to Capoeira classes, we also offer a variety of engaging activities, including storytelling, and games, all inspired by the Afro-Brazilian culture. Children will have the opportunity to make new friends, learn a new skill, and have a memorable summer experience.
We welcome children of all levels of experience and abilities, and our instructors will adapt the program to suit the needs of each child. Our summer school is a great way for your child to stay active, learning a new sport and be immersed in a cultural experience, while having fun being creative with art in a supportive and inclusive environment.
We look forward to seeing your child at our summer school!
